Let it rain, let it rain, let it rain. . .part I: umbrellas

Now that Spring has arrived, we must all be prepared to look fashionable even in the rainy weather. And so this week we have prepared a series of blogs on rain accessories so you can keep dry and fashionable in spring!

And who better to turn to then the experts on rain accesories then Burberry? This burberry print umbrella is just oh-so-classical, perfect for the classic british chic look and matches absolutely anything. Although one must be careful to not go over-to-top Burberry and wear head to toe burberry with it. Or go for this "umbrella print" burberry umbrella, for more diversity.

But if you want a more fun and vibrant look, then this patterned (mostly) orange Paul Smith and floral patterned purple Etro umbrella is perfect. This will defintely differentiate you from the rest of the crowd.

These Coach umbrellas is the American answer to Burberry. Their new scribble print umbrella is soo cool. The colorful and fun print allows it to be matched with almost anything. And the red one has just the right contrast of red to give the classical Coach print a fun and lively edge.

For those of you who want more practical umbrellas, this classical Louis Vuitton umbrella and this Lulu Guinness black polka dot one is perfect. The classical LV print on the inside of the umbrella and the polka dot print of the Lulu Guiness umbrella gives these practical umbrellas just the right twist of style.

There's a perfect umbrella for everyone. The only problem is, do we want the ever practical and convenient foldable version or the very chic long version?

  1. Well, if I'm spending $100-300 on an umbrella, I'd want it to be big and ostentatious. Then again, a Louis Vuitton umbrella just screams "Steal me!" so I'd never be able to leave it at the door of a restaraunt ot store without a large degree of stress.

  2. Finally I get to comment. Hmph.

I have this adorable little red umbrella that folds up to no bigger than the size of your wallet in its own little case and fits neatly in your purse. I love it for the days when it might rain but it might not, so I throw it in my purse and off I go. If it doesn't rain I don't have to lug this big thing around and if it does I'm prepared! Other than that I'd go with the pretty floral or the fun pink polka dots.

And is it okay if I just write cute, cute, cute on all your posts? Because sometimes I don't have anything else to offer :)
