Diamond Tennis Bracelet

Recently I've been seeing this bracelet absolutely everywhere I go. And I must say, its definitely rubbing off me. It is simple yet elegant, something that can be worn from day to night and will never go outof style- definitely a keeper.

This bracelet is called the "Tennis Bracelet." It is said that back in the 1987 US Open, former World No.1, Chris Evert accidentally broke the bracelet and the game was actually interrupted to allow Chris to recover her bracelet. And that is how the name came about. I thought that was pretty interesting. Can't win a match without looking good first. Kind of like my theory for dressing up for exams: you look nicer, you feel more confident and so you'll naturally do better! LOL.

If I were to splurge on a diamond bracelet, this would be on the top of my list- but thats not until much much much later.

  7. I've always always wanted one. Tried a couple before but never got down to buying one..mostly due to lack of $$ :(

I think if you were to get a tennis bracelet, you HAVE to get one with real diamonds. Somehow it just doesn't feel or look right if it's fake.

  8. swarovski actually does a crystal version of the tennis bracelet. it comes in both the gold and silver colour. being fashion jewellery its not something you can wear continuously but its a lovely versatile piece to have. i used to work at swarovski and they were continuously low in stock~!

  9. i always thought i'd hate the rhinestone/diamante ones cos they look cheap but if you could find a great vintage one it would be just as precious i think! i got this one which used to be a factory sample from former Czechoslovakia circa 1940s and its absolutely gorgeous! you can take a look at it in my blog (it is the second one from the top):

  16. A tennis bracelet is actually one of the traditional jewelry pieces that are considered timeless and very versatile. they are simple enough for everyday use yet can be very elegant for special occasions. of course, this would all depend on the materials used and its design. in any case, a tennis bracelet is a must for all jewelry lovers out there!

But now since I'm more responsible, I'm looking towards purchasing my first REAL gold diamond tennis bracelet. If any of you girl are looking for a place to get them, check out Anjolee.com - I found that their prices were very inexpensive and they have a beautiful selection.
