Emmy Awards 2008

OK, honestly I wasn't interested in the Emmy's this year (because there is simply so many more interesting news right now, like the financial news and the China milk scandal.) But the one thing that I did want to know about the Emmy's was that Tina Fey, Alec Baldman and 30 Rock won four 'big' awards -so yay for them!

  1. It was the lowest-rated Emmys EVER. Serves 'em right for their political low blows.

  5. Apparently most people hated Eva Longoria-Parker's Marchesa dress, but I loved it. I especially love the fringe. I love it when celebs take risks on the red carpet. Plain long dresses bore the crap out of me..

  6. This looks very nice and simple but the most important thing is how to make it more special among people. Emmy makes a very good effort to make these kind of dresses in lower prices so anyone can buy and wear it.

  11. In response to annoymous's link www.the2bandits.com

Those are totally cool, original...and overpriced!! Love the idea though. I'm off to Walgreens for a hair tie or stretchy headband and super glue, Joanne Fabrics for a cool design for my boots. Total cost ~$10.

    Thanks for the great idea:)

  12. In my opinion, most of the outfits were quite dull, boring or just ugly.

There were a few great exceptions though, like Olivia Wilde, Emilie de Ravin or Debra Messing.

And I loved Glenn Close walking the red carpet with her sunglasses on...so Hollywoodesque.
