Kate Moss' FW06 Ads

Kate Moss's appeal never ceases to amaze me. She is one of the older models, but she's definitely the winner this season. I loved some ads, but wasn't quite impressed with the rest......

Long Champ -Kate continues to be Long Champ's model this season. She looks really pretty in this campaign. This definitely beats the Long Champ SS06 campaign.

David Yurman -Kate looks gorgeous in these images. But then again, David Yurman ads always have amazing, sharp b&w images. Love this ad!

CK Jeans -Kate got famous back in the 90s because of controversial CK ads, and now she's back. She looks very cool of course, but I just think at Kate's age now, she would look cooler and classier if she had a top on, something like a denim jacket.

Belstaff -Belstaff is another brand that continues to use Kate this season. She looks so cool in the leather jacket, esp since she's got such a rock chick image.

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Stella McCartney -The nature feel of this ad is so different from the other ads. Two words sum up this ad: effortlessly cool.

Versace -All the models look super glamorous in the Versace campaign. From the Versace ads I've seen so far, Kate seems to be at the centre of most of the images.

Louis Vuitton -Vuitton's campaign is another one of those mulit-models ad. My feelings for this ad is so and so.

Bvlgari fragrance -There's something about this image that bugs me. Maybe it's her hairstyle or makeup, but I'm just not a fan of this ad.

Burberry -The Burberry campaign is my absolute favourite out of Kate's many campaigns this season. I just think she suits Burberry so well -she combines the cool and classic look in one. Out of the Burberry images, I adore this one the most. She looks sooo girly and stylishly cool.

Christian Dior -Dior's campaign is by far, the most unflattering-looking ads of Kate. Seriously, they make her look so old and just weird.

Agent Provocateur -The newest of Kate's campaigns. The founders of Agent Provocateur are Kate's friends, and Kate claims that she only wears lingerie by AP. There's even a video for this campaign on the Agent Provocateur website.

Which of Kate's ads do you love and hate the most?

The Dior ads bothers me too. It's just something about her face makeup.

My favorites are Burberry, Belstaff and Stella McCartney. The Belstaff ads makes her look so cool in the leather jackets.. i wish could pull a look off like that as well as her.

In the Bvlgari she just looks strange, and the Dior shots really don't do her justice. She really doesn't suit the Agent Provocateur ads, there are girls who can pull off lingerie without looking slutty but I don't think she's pulled it off very well.

you would think the fashion companies would have limits on whether models can do other campaigns for similar products.

i'd have to agree, the burberry one looks the most sophisticated and suits her well. in second would be the david yurman. the ck ads are just boring, they're very much like the ones in the 80s, perhaps even worse. the belstaff is very simple and chic, the versace very glam, the LV is just..bleh (mostly because they feature pharell williams which i hate), the dior ads are horrible (looks like there's no makeup on her and like she just got out of bed), im soso on he longchamp and bulgari perfume ads.

I did not like the LongChamp or Bvlgari ads (actually I hated the Bvlgari one). David Yurman looks good, CK, Burberry, and I love the Belstaff. It's very Kate!

I really like the David Yurman and the Burberry ads. She looks really natural elegant in these. I also like the Belstaff one because it most definately suits her image. I didn't like the Longchamp, Bvlgari and Dior ones. They really didn't do her justice. They all make her look very strange, especially the Dior one.

I think she looks best in Louis Vuitton and burberry and in the Bvlgari one i think she looks odd and in the dior one i think she is trying to look fiesty and indepentent but in my opinion i think she looks old and boring(and her feet look huge!)

I really dislike the stella mcartney add actually. I'm not sure what she's supposed to be doing but I wish she would put some clothes on

The Longchamp ad is certainely my favorite. I don't like the McCartney one that much, I prefer the last season ads for this brand. And i'm not a fan of the Burberry ad, don't know why. I just think they can choose another person sometimes, just for change. Seeing Kate eveytime bores me. Just my point of view, though.

Anyway, I wanted to say "bravo" for your new layout. I like it a lot.

I think she looks gorgeous in the Longchamp ad, but the Burberry one is my favorite. It's so classic.

Burberry is my fav too... although I don't love it because I think in general she is very 'rat like'. But Burberry definately makes her ooze class and style.

for kate specifically, i love the david yurman...but that versace ad with all five models, i think carolyn, daria, angela, christy, and kate..is AMAZING! i love it when they get all the supers together for one shoot..

I agree--the Burberry campaign is the best. The Dior one is the worst, although I think the Ck jeans or Agent Provocateur ones are rather...bleh. And I don't like the Louis Vuitton one for the fact that I absolutely hate their FW06 collection. The print + LV monogram is just hideous. No model could make that look appealing.

I think Kate and Burberry are a perfect match being british and all.
The long champ are so gorgeous and sexy.
I disagree with you on the ck Jeans ad, I think Kate can still pull off that ad with no jacket or something on.

why does kate need to put a top on cause she's thirtysomething? if anything, the younger models are the ones who should have their tops on.

I like how the Dior ad looks like Kate has no makeup on ... or very natural makeup on.

Since when is porn "effortlessly cool?" Is it "effortlessly cool" to encourage the exploitation and victimization of women? Not in my book. Cliches are useless. Everything from Keds to nudity is now "effortlessly cool." That's rather mindless.

i like burberry's the most. the one i like 2nd best is actually the dior ad. i thought the picture looks a little 3D, and is quite cool. stella mcCartney's and belstaff's are quite good too. the one i hate the most is bvlgari's, followed by the louis vuitton's.

The Kate Moss ad isn't 'effortlessly cool' because it isn't cool. Peroid. I have never thought of Kate Moss as a pretty or particularly good model bcz her ads are just so-so. I've never been impressed by any of her ads so I'm still wondering why everyone's making such a song and dance about her. Mischa WEARING the Keds are affortlessly cool. Love the new layout btw. Excellent.

Great work rounding all the ads together! I love it! My favorites are the Belstaff, Dior, and Burberry ads. The LV ads -- don't do it for me.

I LOVE the David Yurman one. However, i think there were better models who were... better endowed who could of been a lot more appropriate as an Agent Provocateur model

I love the Burberry one she looks so girlish and chic and also the David Yurman one is stunning! In the Bvlgari one she doesn't even look like herself don't like it at all!

The first time I saw the Burberry ad was in Elle, I was just flicking through and it stopped me right in my tracks. I love it, it's just so chic, hip, and cool. I think Kate brings just the right sort of rock star flair and edge. The male models and the rooftop provide a perfect background.

I'm torn about the Dior ad. It's certainly not the most flattering picture of Kate I've ever seen. But I really like the pose, it's very tough yet serene. And of all of them the Dior ad best represents the androgynous look that's everywhere for Autumn/Winter '06. (And my god I want those boots).

The Burberry one is the best because of the chemistry between Kate and the other male models. They are all so young and unknown (but really hot) and then in the middle there is Kate -the legend and the queen. I would love to know what was going through they guys' heads when they were posing with her!

The Burberry ad is classic. Effortless is definitely the word. The Versace ads (all of them) are fierce and powerful, i like those as well. I used to really hate the way Kate looked in the Dior ad, but im beginning to get used to it. i predict the bedroom eyes will become popular in the near future.

Agent Provocateur has some of the sexiest ads, using some of the best models. However is the "supermodel" what most guys want, or what most guys have?

I think what bothers me the most is that are not showing the average lady, or particularly catering to most of the women in world today?
