SS06 Fashion Trend: White Bermudas
Bored of wearing jeans? Move onto the SS06 staple (as agreed by many of the following designers)- white bermudas. They are ladylike, classic and incredibly versatile.
Or it can be worn casually with sandals and a pretty colorful tank as seen on the Matthew Williamson and Luca Luca runway.
It can even be worn in a rock-star-ish fashion, like in LAMB, with a rocking leather jacket and funky belt.
And the great thing is that white bermudas can be found absolutely everywhere, so you can be sure you'd find the perfect one. The ones above are from Rebecca Taylor and Top Shop.

I always feel like you need to be tall in order to wear bermudas. Does it have the same shortening effect as capris do for short people?
I'm 5'4 and Bermudas look fine on me =)
I hated them when they first came out last year but I recently bought a pair and now love them. =) Perfect for not too hot and not too cold weather.
I like the last pic, but I think wearing them with a belt looks a bit, erm, in-my-moms-closet ish? I think it's something that can go both ways.
can you guys do a post on bathing suits.. yours is the best fashion advice i can find but no bathing suit post.. yet! since white is the in color should i look for a white suit as well? and what style! aughh! im a bad shopper! but i love it so much!

But I have a morbid fear of white bottoms (even though I absolutely love them coz they look so classic and are easy to match with). I'm totally accident-prone and my white bottoms (and tops, for that matter) never do seem to stay pristine white for long. Sigh.. And you've definitely got to be careful and check what you're gonna sit on.
This is cool, but this company is supposedly launching (i heard from my friend who works at Nordstrom). It is fashionable clothes that is made under fair trade conditions, and it's not over priced like Edun. We'll see...
