Golden Globe Awards Fashion

The Golden Globe Awards is known to be a lighter, carefree event. Actresses came dressed in a light-hearted fashion. Most focussed on metalics and whites. Here are some of the highlights:

Desperate Housewives stars:
Teri Hatcher in Donna Karan, Eva Longoria in Oscar de la Renta

Our favourtie modern icon of elegance, Nicole Kidman in Gucci

Radiating of youth and class, Natalie Portman dressed as a Bohemian chic in Chloe.

This year's sophisticated new girl, Emmy Rossum in Ralph Lauren.

Not so Bridget Jones like, Renee Zellwegar in Carolina Herrera

Best actress Hilary Swank in Calvin Klein

Charlize Theron in Christian Dior by John Galliano, very much like a fish/ mermaid.

And although The OC girls were not the stars of the Award, Mischa Barton still looked effortlessly gorgeous, and Rachel Bilson and Olivia Wilde looked chic.

Brown is a tough color to wear well. I think Renee needs to rethink her color while Hillary shines in brown.

Whoops, clicked publish before finishing my comment. Anyways, was just saying how I adored Natalie Portman, Emmy Rossum and Renee Zellwegars' dresses. They are the epitome of chic, elegance and classical.

Hey there! It's GlamourGirl/All I Want Is Everything/Corianne - I can't post without it being anonymous, darn it!

Anyway, excellent post... very well written. I'm not a big fan of Natalie Portman's look, but it is very "her". So, maybe I'm just not a big fan of "her". ;)

I love, love, LOVED Charlize. She looked amazing... that color is beautiful and her dark hair/blue eyes combo is to die for. I'm so jealous.

And gotta love the girls from the OC. They're awesome.

Great post!
