Being more on the oily side myself, I am very fed up with hair that goes oily after just one day of washing. So I was very excited when my friend told me about this spray on shampoo. It sounded sooo cool. You spray it on, blow dry it and it'll take away oil and other remnants in the hair. Not a drop of water involved. So we really excitedly gave it a try. Imagine how easy life would be!!
Unforunately, some things really are too good to be true. I sprayed it on, I blowed dried it and waited for the miracle to happen- nothing happened. It looked exactly the same as before. And it actually felt dirtier because I've added more products into it! Am very disappointed. And I don't think its because I don't know how to use it or its just my type of hair or something. My friend tried it as well and nothing happened.
Guess we'll be keeping our hair clean the good old fashion way after all- with water!

Try Klorane Instant Spray Shampoo or Bumble and Bumble's hair powders, which come in different colors (i.e. black for my Asian hair). You'll have to brush a lot, but it works.
I've been wishing for a product like this for a long time! Definitely going to try Sophia's suggestions.
i tried this today for the first time too, and the same thing happened to me! if only you'd posted a day earlier, then maybe i would have returned it and saved $20 :)
I agree with Sophia - I've heard wonderful things about the Bumble and Bumble hair powders.. they're apparently very easy to adjust as well, ie. quickly go from the 'wouldn't -you- like to know where my bed head came from' look to the sleeker styles :)
yes to Klorane!! its truly the best! i go through bottles in the summertime, and i really really love the way it smells, and the texture it gives my hair, espeically in the humid midatlantic heat!

Awww--I was so looking forward to trying this for the same reason! I wonder if those dry powder shampoos actually work.
I use Turnstyl do-over cleansing spray by KMS and that seems to work alright. But I don't like to bother with the blowdrying even, so I've used just scented body powders at times and that seems to help remove the oil. It's not perfect, but it does the trick if you just don't have the time.
Hey, I just picked this up this weekend too. I think it's more for after swimming or after a day on the beach... if you have salt water in your hair and you want to freshen up before walking down the shore to dinner type of thing. I wouldn't use it in place of washing my hair (if I don't condition, my hair will totally freak out) but I think it would be good for vacation days on the beach. Or like when you're sailing and just finished snorkeling and you want to wash that stink out of your hair. :P
