Royal Wedding: Charles and Camilla

First, congradulations to Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles!
OK, now back to important business- the oh so important wedding dress of course. Apparently, Camilla had six outfit fittings and 10 hat fittings, and a final dress rehearsal before settling on the final dress.

Outfit by Robinson Valentine. The color is described to be oyster, and the dress is soft. We think this is the perfect outfit for this wedding, and she looks beautiful.

The now Duchess of Cornwall has had many outfits made by the label, Robinson Valentine in the past five years, so they are familiar with dressing Camilla.
"It's very elegant. It definitely suits Mrs Parker Bowles and she feels relaxed in it. It's been quite easy because we've made clothes for [her] before and we know what suits her," said Valentine.

Label History of Robinson Valentine
Antonia Robinson and Anne Valentine met at a pattern cutting course in 1985 and established the label, Robinson Valentine in 1986. In 1990, they created their first collection, which consisted of 10 pieces. In 2002, they launched the first Robinson Valentine wedding dress collection. Now that they have designed a wedding dress for a ROYAL WEDDING, the label will be heading for a greater global presence.

I have never loved Camilla's style and her sense of fashion, but today she was really elegant and even beautiful. Her Philip Treacy's hat was awesome!

I think its rather romantic that they finally get to be together if they're truly in love (esp with all the things happening that seems to prevent it from happening). This wedding dress if very fitting for Camilla. At her age, if she wore something big and frilly, it would just be waay over the top. But this simple but elegant outfit is perfect.

Call me old-fashioned, but I think white should have been out-of-the-question. Even if it's called "oyster," it's still white. It's common knowledge there were improper activities, to which both admitted, so why white? It was also interesting that the Queen wore white with BLACK gloves and shoes! Just goes to show that clothing is indeed important and can make a statement.

I've seen the dress in other photographs, and it looks like a soft, pearly gray. You wouldn't mistake it for white.

Thanks, dowdydiva; all the pictures I've seen show the first dress and hat quite white and the second dress, (complete, I might add, with QUEENLY train and feather and diamond headdress that resembles a CROWN) in a sort of silvery color. In addition to her black gloves and shoes, the Queen was also carrying a black bag.

Oh, yes, the headdresses were absolutely stunning, and the way she clutched at them as if she'd never worn such contraptions before and just recently had such finery thrust upon her was definitely an unassuming touch. It appeared to be windy, but had no one any pins?

Does anyone know who made the elegant bag The Duchess of Cornwall is carrying?

I think The Duchess of Cornwall was carrying a clutch handbag by Launer London. The official leather goods manufacturer to the royal family. I am not particularly excited by their classic bags but they do make some good and beautiful ladies purses and men’s wallets. My husband for the past 20 years will only use a Launer wallet and they don’t come cheap either!

To start with, white was a joke when it comes to this woman. Also, she is referred to as 'Mrs Parker Bowles'. How many men does she want to be connected with?! Clear your mind up Camilla.

Her other outfit was elegant and very attractive. I will grant the designers that much.
I do not think a lot of that woman as you may have figured by now.
