Winter Getaway

Now that the weather is getting cold (its cold, windy and raining in Chicago today....) and the holiday season is officially upon us, its time to plan our winter getaway wardrobe! This holiday I am going to San Diego- I heard its not actually that warm over there, but I have my fingers crossed anyway!

Now for wardrobe ideas. The first thing that pops up in mind- DRESSES. Cute summery dresses! And lucky for us, this is also the season for the Resort Collections, so there are plenty out there. Here are a few that I wish I had:

Bold dresses by Catherine Maladrino. As the guy at Saks told me- Catherine is smokin' hot this season!

Bold PRINTED dresses. I love these ones from Karen Zambos (incidentally Karen Zambos seems to be the queen of winter getaway wear on shopbop- so check her out!).

Printed dresses by T Bag (i.e. above left). And to be VERY this season- ethnic inspired dresses like this one by Tibi (right).

Shiny dresses for the evenings. I am loving these two from Ingwa Melero (left) and Mara Hoffman (right). The colors are just so rich and bold and pretty!
Cropped jackets/cardis to keep warm. These two from Catherine Maladrino (left) and What comes around goes around (right) are so cute. The sparkly one is also great for adding a glam factor to your outfit.
Platform sandals to look pretty in and cute flats to walk around in. These two from Marc by Marc Jacobs (left) and Report Signature (right) are just the thing!

Have a nice holiday/thanksgiving everyone!

I love cocktail dresses in strong, rich colours, like the one from Mara Hoffman. It's great for all the christmas parties! Since it's freezing in my country, I'd have to pair it with tights and a cardigan.

i'm from san diego
and lemme tell you, you'll freeze in those dresses.

come on, just cuz it's california doesn't mean you can dress in little minidresses and sandals all year long. we have winter too.

i just left san diego and i was perfectly comfortable in jeans and a short sleeved jacket.

especially if you're planning on going to clubs or being mostly inside, tights with a dress and cropped jacket should be fine.

She looks very beautiful especially with a Louis Vuitton Replica
handbag. I have to say I am quite impressed with her style.

It's 58 right now (5:13pm). It gets down to 39 overnight sometimes. You'll be fine in any of those dresses as long as you have a coat (woolen topcoat will suffice) with you for the brief times you spend running from the car to the venue.

During the day, it's dungarees/cashmere sweater/flats weather. You can wear a skirt with bare legs.

For us, it's "winter." For most other people, it'll feel like early autumn-like temps.

(*note: obviously, I'm reporting Fahrenheit, not Celcius.)

I live in San Diego. I think you'll be fine in those dresses, especially if you are planning to wear them out to bars and clubs or out shopping in the late morning/early afternoon.

During the day, it is usually pretty warm and sunny, but come 4PM and the chill comes in. That's when you'll need your jacket and maybe jeans.

They say that in San Diego, we get all four seasons in one day.

BTW Those silver sandals are the bomb.

PS Definitely go shopping in North Park (my neighborhood) at the hip new shops there. E-mail me for more info or check out yelp.

On the off chance that you are feeling uneasy about your payday credit application, then quickly stop. Bunches of organizations endeavor to trick individuals. Along these lines, you should guarantee you are totally agreeable about the decision you make. It is your duty to deal with your cash, so being certain your loan specialist will hold up their end of the arrangement is an absolute necessity.
